The series stars comedian Joe Pera as a fictionalized version of himself, living in Michigan's Upper Peninsula and teaching choir at a local middle school. Pera attempts to talk directly to the audience about seemingly mundane subject matter such as iron, Sunday breakfast, fall drives, dancing, sleeping, and music. Written by dbnett
This show is not only very funny, but relaxing in a way. Everyone I have shown this to loves it. The show is entertaining, and has great commentary on simple things, and this is fortified by the storyline, which makes the viewer want to keep watching as well. I will say, it is not a typical adult swim program, but it is a very calm, yet funny, show to hang out and enjoy
