A charming playboy who has never had a serious relationship finds himself in a spot of bother when he finally meets the right girl. Will they end up together? Or will his fear of commitment affect their relationship?
An innocent young lecturer is misunderstood as a pervert and despised by a woman who co-incidentally turns out to be the younger sister of his brother-in-law. Eventually differences subside and love blooms between them.
This movie is made for the typical telugu Sankranthi movie-goer. It owes it's success largely to the great storytelling and physics knowledge of Mr Boyapati and deadpan acting of Mr Ram Charan, along with the lack of direction from Katha (leni) Nayakudu Krish garu and the general audience not understanding how awesome "Petta" and Mr. Rajnikanth are.
Victory Venkatesh carried the movie on his shoulders, with Mehreen, Tamanna and Varun Tej bringing down all the energy of his efforts. The casting was well thought out except for the aforementioned lead actors. Varun does a satisfactory job as a second fiddle with an alien slang which is never heard in Telangana or Borabanda . Tamanna put up a decent performance and forgot to learn Telugu or hire a dubbing artist (or they found a dubbing artist on OLX). Mehreen was an eye candy but just her presence made me remove five stars of the rating (Still don't get why her character was written like that).
The first half was very funny with lot of spot on situational comedy. Vintage performance by Venkatesh which was very reminiscent of his wholesome family entertainers like Nuvvu Naku Nachav and Adavari Matalaki Ardhale Veru. Rajendra Prasad wasn't used to his full potential. What could have been a great character became the worst thing of the movie (Not exceeding Mehreen's bad acting though). The second half of the movie just went downhill, escorted by Varun, Tamanna and Mehreen. It felt like a typical Sajid Khan's movie, the last twenty minutes of the movie was just a snooze fest with a very juvenile understanding of relationships.
I would strongly recommend you to go watch this movie and come back during the interval break. Jokes are funny in most places, all in all go watch the movie if you like Venkatesh.
