Could-and should- have been SO much better.

This episode's wasted potential made me feel disappointed after nine episodes of spooky and entertaining storylines. The writing throughout this season was raw, unexpected and moving with lots of shocking and kind of creepy/cringeworthy words strung together in ways I have never heard. That was new and fun. Where did that go? I was expecting a satisfying finale because of how great the first 9 episodes were. Unfortunately, that's not how it happened. There was no symbolism, no surprise, no exciting plot twist. I really wanted those things! I wanted to feel creeped out and excited and surprised; to try to predict crazy plot twists and then gasp when I'm right or when I'm wrong! I get that this show is based on a book, but COME ON GUYS that ending was bologna. I rate this episode 5/10, but I still give the season a 10/10 because of how much fun the first 9 episodes were. Great show. Surprise us next season!
