In the stage version, the character of Patrick Nolan listens to a self-help tape at various points throughout the play. Realbuto had his good friend, the multiple Drama Desk Award nominee and famous impressionist Christina Bianco record the self-help tape for the stage. The idea really only worked on stage and was scrapped during pre-production for the film. See more
