You get what you pay for and this is free. I adore time loop stories so this is made for people like me. But I still spot when the acting is seriously lacking, the sets look cheap and dull, the lighting is terrible, and the story is all over the place. The writing is what is really lacking here as it could cover for the cheap CGI. Having an episode set in the past when we are exploring a mystery setting is bafflingly bad writing. Show us the past first then we move to the spaceship. Then we see the time loop. Instead the story jumps all over the place and keep in mind it's already a time loop so we are already confused about the rules. Was it wise to constantly show flashback scenes? What do you think? It doesn't take a good writer to understand how to structure a proper story. This is exactly why one of my main rating criterias is looking at flashbacks. They are used as a crush by bad writers to insert action into a story growing dull. But here it become messy and at some point I didn't even want to guess anymore as I didn't get the proper info delivered properly to guess along.
Unfortunately this got worse each minute. I did at least focus on the first 2 episodes. But after a while it becomes a mess. I also liked the main events where we figure out new stuff. But again, the story was stretched out to double the runtime it needed for the plot. Remove the flashbacks and actors stumbling over their lines and this could be a nice tight 35 min story. But editing is another matter.
