Disney ruined original story with diversity message
I was a big fan of the original Lady and the Tramp animated feature movie and was really sad to see how Disney destroyed it in order to push their diversity message. I have no problem with mixed relationships but this was way over the top! The setting for this story in 1910 Midwest America, in a rich suburb which we all know was 99% white. But the director of this movie decided to re-write history and make sure he makes the cast as diverse as possible! For starters, Darling is now a black young lady, married to a white Jim. Ok, I could live with that, but wait. It's just the beginning. The doctor is Asian, the pet store owner is Indian, and almost every couple in the streets is a mixed couple like Jim and Darling! Not only is this historically in accurate since mixed marriages were not legalized in most states until the 60's, but it's simply annoying to see how hard they are trying to represent every race on the planet so nobody gets offended. The USA is already one of the most diverse countries in the world and I'm sick and tired of Hollywood and the media trying to tell us we're not! Go preach in Asia instead where 99.9% of the people are Asian!
