A man dumps a girl's body in a lake after accidentally killing her with his car on a dark and foggy night. Her enraged father soon hatches an elaborate plan to find the perpetrator and take revenge.
Maybe it's because I'm not Korean and I'm missing some cultural thing but I have seen this theme in several movies now. Someone causes harm due to an honest accident, but instead of coming clean, their first impulse is to try and hide it, causing a totally unnecessary chain reaction of events spiralling more and more out of control. This movie is kind of based on such an incident. It's beautifully shot and well acted and it highlights an interesting moral dilemma. But unfortunately the story develops in rather absurd, unbelievable and unrealistic ways and the antagonist's actions and motivations kind of don't make much sense.
