This episode doesn't really make fun of a certain trope, but guess what? We get yet another different art style! Well, everything's in black and white. This episode features well, just that happening. The main jokes in the episode don't even revolve around that. We see Gumball and Darwin go around Elmore and find how insane everything has gotten when Alan stops doing community service.
I admit some of the jokes were predictable, but it was still great. The best part is easily when they're captured by boy scouts. They realize that since the scouts stole their badges, they haven't earned their tying badges, so they just easily break free from the ropes! I wish we could have seen them fighting. The song could have been better, but was still nice. This binge watching has been great. ***1/2
