Special effects creators Eric Allard and Rick Stratton are the focus of this 19-minute featurette, which takes a look at their work on the cult film CLASS OF 1999. If you've seen the film then you know there's plenty of special effects so we get the rundown on how they were created. I was really impressed with this featurette as the two men go into some pretty good detail about the various effects seen in the film and for the most part you get a great idea of what went into them to make them work on the screen. There's a lot of discussion about Pam Grier's robot in the movie and you get to see how the effect was done. If you're a fan of special effects or interested in making them then there's some very good bits of information here. The two men both keep the discussion very entertaining and the detail is very good.
