Trivia

As well as the parents of the 4 main VKs (including Mal's mother Maleficent who makes no appearance in Descendants 3 (2019) as a human or a lizard), Lonnie (daughter of Mulan and Shang) is the only character in the franchise who does not appear in this film due to scheduling conflicts with her actress Dianne Doan, which upset several fans of whom Lonnie had been a favourite character of especially after her role in Descendants 2 (2017), where it was also hinted that she and Jay could become a couple. In the film itself the reason for Lonnie's absense was due to her being busy on the professional R.O.A.R. team for Northern Wei. See more »

Best in the series
3 August 2019 | by Divergent_Fan46See all my reviews

From The story that has underlying themes in regards to Immigration to the acting, cinematography and effects, I found it hard to believe this was a film that came out of disney channel. Easily the best movie out of the trilogy. The songs are better, the dancing is better, the stakes are better. Kenny Ortega concluded yet another trilogy perfectly
