MPAA Rated PG for action and some language

Sex & Nudity

  • Some characters are in romantic relationships, but absolutely nothing sexual is seen taking place.

Violence & Gore

  • A lot of action, but it is very cartoonish with absolutely no blood.
  • A lot of cartoonish violence, mostly towards robots.
  • When robots are killed, oil splashes out, symbolising blood.


  • Some use of family-friendly profanity such as 'idiot', 'dang it', 'butt'.
  • Mild language, some words like "jerk", "stupid", "dang it"
  • The words "dang it" "dang" and "heck" are used infrequently. Possibly a couple to a few uses of "hell or "damn" but nothing too bad as it is rated PG.
  • Possibly some uses of "Oh my god" or "Oh god" and "God"
  • The word "scumbag" is used.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Many references to R rated films such as Taxi Driver, Portrait of a Lady on Fire etc.
  • A lot of apocalyptic destruction, but it is quite comedic and not very frightening.
  • A Giant Furby breaks out of its box and once out releases a monster-like yell. This moment may upset/frighten young viewers.
  • Suggested MPAA Rating: Rated PG for action/violence, rude humor and some language.

  • When Linda asks Katie if "she and Jade are official" at the end, this suggests that both Katie and Jade are dating.


  • Towards the begging of the movie, the words "heck yeah" are seen on one of the character's shoes. With the word "Heck"being on 1 shoe and "Yeah" on the other shoe.
