There seems to have been some confusion regarding this title and I can entirely understand why.
Pakistani made it came out at the same time as an Indian movie by exactly the same name. The other movie is more notable and higher budget whereas this one is on Netflix oddly. Still with me? Confusing stuff. I think that many of the reviews on the other Pari are actually for this and at time of writing this will be the first review for this one.
Only the second Pakistan made movie I've ever seen and the first one without help from any other countries studios I wish I had better news.
Sadly Pari is an embarrassing attempt at a horror movie which had me both confused and bored from start to finish.
It tells the story of a family who move into a new home with their young daughter Pari. Shortly after they start noticing a difference in her behavior, what could it be? Is she possessed? Could I find it in myself to care?
It takes a lot for me to give a movie a 1/10, it suggests the film had absolutely no redeeming features and Pari truly doesn't.
An absolute abomination of a movie, I hope how awful this film is doesn't damage the other which I can only assume is better.
Really quite boring
Some high grade stupidity
Antagonist looks suspiciously like "The Nun" (Also 2018)
Ridiculous musical interlude
