I'm not blind. Maybe that's why I don't understand a world of only blind people riding horses at a full gallop and wearing crowns.

It's entertaining for those who like medieval settings, even though this is supposed to be the distant future. But after centuries of everyone being blind, they seem to appreciate jewelry, feathers in their hair, lots of hairdos and beards that take a lot to create and maintain. Not to mention, these are good looking choices. How any of it is appreciated in the middle of a world where days are spent finding food, water, and maintaining a safe shelter all while blind is beyond me.
