Hilarious, totally-irreverent, near-slanderous political quiz show, based mainly on news stories from the last week or so, that leaves no party, personality or action unscathed in pursuit ... See full summary »
Satirical Blackadderesque sitcom about how friends, family, historical circumstances, and his arch-rival Robert Greene, who first coined the derogatory term "upstart crow", influenced William Shakespeare to write his famous plays.
When I watched the previous series, yes it had a clear left wing bias, but no side was spared mockery.
The present series however has become very unbalanced, preachy and patronising, and has lost its humour. The producers and Nish clearly are of the Guardian, Owen Jones, mindset, and that now runs throughout the show. But it is a very narrow and prejudiced view of the World, and not very thoughtful or intelligent. So not very observational or funny.
