Goofs

Danny is shown suffering from financial difficulty. As a Detective First Grade, not only could he afford a decent razor, but so much more. A Detective/First has pay equivalent to a uniform Lieutenant. Based upon his time on the job and in grade, he would be making well over $100,000 per year w/o overtime and in addition would have considerable income due to Linda's death, such as Social Security benefits as a surviving widower. Since he has lived in the same home for a long time, his expenses would be fixed in that respect and his payments would be relatively low due to the age of the mortgage. See more »

Bad one

Frank quotes Lincoln as saying that sometimes you have to take a limb to save the body. The only body part he was saving was his own rear end. Absolutely terrible. They need to add a character who'll tell Frank when he's making a bad decision. In an upcoming episode, he promotes a higher ranking officer despite that officer lying about his military service.
