The term "Familiar" is not new. For example, it was use in passing to describe specific animals in "Bewitch" who did the bidding of witches. However, "What We Do In The Shadows" takes the time to explain characters such as Guillermo were "Familiar" yet did their Master's (Mistress) bidding in human form. In Guillermo's case, he is "Nandor's" Familiar with promise to make him a Vampire.
The 'documentary' on three traditional vampires and Colin Robinson may turn out to document phrases and terminologies movies and TV Shows just toss about in context only - but never define as "What We Do In The Shadows" has. See more »
What We Do In the Shadows is one of the best new comedies to come out in years, it's actually one of the funniest comedies I've ever seen! I absolutely loved the movie so I thought this was going to be a letdown but boy was I wrong...EVERY episode is great!
