"Jit Jaruveda" You
11 October 2018 | by HallowLooyuhSee all my reviews

Halfway through this, I was thinking of following beautiful Vivian's advice, taking a page from the "Jit Jaruveda" and coming over your way to punch you in the freaking face.

Sampling beautiful music from my favorite movie of all time, "Amarcord?" I know you folks have high expectations, but come on.

If I can't say "I don't give you permission to steal from Fellini and Rota," then I can surely say, "I hope you paid a handsome licensing fee" for trying to piggyback on their theme.

It all but overshadowed what was a good episode, the highlight of course being Jeff and Vivian's scenes and communications. the other elements are treading on what seems like a fatalistic, even evil path.

this show can be good while being weird, bizarre, incongruous and unsettling. but it needn't chop everyone's head off in order to succeed.
