I saw this as part of the collection "Male Gaze: First Kiss" (which I recommend; it has a lot more depth than the title might suggest). It follows a queer guy and his flamboyant female friend who have been invited to a "yuppie" party by a guy who presumably is interested in him.
The scenes at the party are pretty uncomfortable to watch, but there's a layer of satire that takes the edge off a bit. The film effectively shows how these narrow-minded yuppies are the real losers despite being the privileged ones. Queer people have way more fun.
The film made me feel a range of emotions during its short runtime: happy, nervous, "aww", angry, sad, inspired... The film shows how femininity in men is treated as something embarrassing and shameful, and also how important it is to have support from people who celebrate (or, in the very least, accept) queerness.
The actor who plays the male lead does a great job of showing the inner conflict between self-expression and wanting acceptance from people. The character felt very real to me. I also though he was very endearing and relatable.
I loved the ending most of all, it was just perfect. That wordless last moment hit me right in the feels.
