The Italian Air Force aircraft used to transport Danny, Lexi, and Gwen from Geneva to Rome in this episode is in fact a Royal Norwegian Air Force C-130J Super Hercules that has an Italian Air Force rounded painted on the rear of the fuselage. Italian Air Force roundels are much smaller in reality (historically they were as large as painted in this episode, but have not been so for decades) - presumably to cover the Norwegian rounded beneath. Also, the large "05-11" on the fuselage is presumably to cover the words "Royal Norwegian Air Force" beneath. However, the "5699" on the vertical stabiliser (tail) of the aircraft is the serial number of the aircraft, which was delivered to the Royal Norwegian Air Force in September 2012. See more
