Summer Love in Montreal
19 February 2019 | by lauraskrzypczakSee all my reviews

The movie reminds in some ways of a heterosexual version of Andrew Haigh's "Weekend". Lonely boy meets his manic pixie dream girl and what could have been a one-night stand unfolds into a fully-grown summer romance. The couple, Theo and Mag, definately have chemistry, the acting is on point but very subtle. All in all, it is a convincing movie about young love, desire and how to deal with the fact that summer will end eventually.
