Montgomery, Alabama, 1955. The Doctor and her friends find themselves in the Deep South of America. As they encounter a seamstress by the name of Rosa Parks, they begin to wonder whether someone is attempting to change history.

The interaction between Ryan and the waitress was based off an actual event. While playing in the minors, baseball player Vic Power, a black man from Puerto Rico, entered a segregated restaurant in Florida and was told they by the waitress that they "didn't serve Negroes." The final scene shows asteroid 284996 Rosaparks, which exists, as a jagged rock, sitting in a field of similar rocks.
However, asteroids we've seen have irregular but smoothed-down surfaces, unlike what was shown.
Also, asteroids are dispersed across a vast void. From any one asteroid, it is unlikely that any other asteroid would be visible as more than a point of light. The only exceptions are when a small asteroid is the 'moon' of a larger one. See more
