Dallas and heroin have one thing in common: Duncan always goes back to them. Six months ago, Duncan lost everything to heroin addiction: he spent time in prison, his wife took his daughters and left him, and his parents barely speak to him. His sister, Jessie, offers him support, but struggles to raise her children with an indifferent husband and pursue her own career. Brother and sister are caught between the disapproval of their parents, Ronald and Martha, and societal expectations: to sacrifice for their families. During filming, the Google Map truck drove by the location for Tonya's house in east Dallas. For about a year, if you looked on Google Maps at the 1000 block of Wayne Street, you would see the crew setting up a 12 x 12 frame in the front yard, and 'Duncan' standing next to his car. See more
