Potential at its best

This is my favorite Nick animated pilot for many reasons. It's just slightly over 3 minutes long but crams do much into that time. It looks like its trying to be a buddy cop show but with anime elements. That just makes for an interesting concept for me. The voice actors do a great job and I have to commend Gene for his work on Pibbles. A lot of the time when creators do voice work for child protagonists, it sounds off and bad since they sound older than they should, but Pibbles sounds close to a boy and that's impressive. I love the artstyle. You don't see a lot of cartoons with thick outlines nowadays and even with thick outlines it doesn't look like it wants to be Dexter or Ppg. It's just it's own style and I love originality to in animation style do much. The animation is fantastic and that's probably due to Studio Yotta. They probably won't stay if it gets picked up since studio yotta does only small scale projects but I hope they get an animation studio that can be a worthy successor (Titmouse Inc of motorcity or Flying bark of rise of the tmnt) . I love the character designs and how they consist of geometric shapes that make for recognizable silhouettes. Also the little detail in the a cats vision which confirms that pibbles guess of it being an atomic robot cat was neat. Nickelodeon please pick up this show.
