David, Eddy, and Bobby meet up in 1980. That same year, Stephen King released two excerpts from his book Firestarter, fully released the following year. That book features a shady organization performing a study that was never released as well as monitoring the development of a child. The triplets eventually learned that these things happened to them in reality.
