Trivia

When arguing for the reinstatement of Cobra Kai, Johnny says that he has no idea who Terry Silver is. This makes sense, as Johnny was not present in the third film. See more »

Quotes

Amanda LaRusso: Hey. Have you seen Robby? I need some help with those filters.
Daniel LaRusso: Yeah. He's in the back. He's helping me trim the bonsais.
Amanda LaRusso: Oh, wow. You're letting him touch your precious bonsais. That's like third base for you, babe.
Daniel LaRusso: He's a good kid. He's just had a rough go of it and I thought I could teach him a few things. You know?
Amanda LaRusso: Just don't try to lure him into opening his own bonsai tree store. You know how that goes.

Cobra Kai

All Valley

The suffering and journey that the characters went through all these years comes in handy to project for the makers which they do and should use it to draw out the best emotions. The series does lack a major conundrum i.e. they do not possess strength on acting objective which might bite them on the long run. Although watching William Zabka and Ralph Machio share a screen is definitely electrifying which the makers are aware of and uses it wisely.

The technical aspects are better like choreography (action sequence can be tough to project for the mature actors) and background score. The writing is cheesy, corny and questionable with a familiar plot that it mostly walks on but somehow between creation and execution it still works like a charm in here.

Summing it up all into a night with parallel and interesting episodes of each and every chracter where the highlight of it is the "date" one, even though there is an encounter between Larusso and Lawrence that should have surpassed it.
