Trivia
The song playing while Miguel and Sam are having their first date at Golf 'n Stuff - "Young Hearts" - is the same one that played when Daniel and Ali made up at Golf 'n Stuff the night before the tournament in The Karate Kid (1984). The entire montage is an almost shot-for shot recreation of this sequence.

Goofs
At Golf N' Stuff, after hearing Miguel's response to a question Samantha relayed to him coming from Señor Octopus, she moves a pretzel piece towards her mouth with her right hand and immediately the camera angle changes to the pretzel being in her left hand when she takes a bite.

Red Band Trifecka

Three stories going on at the same time and all of them are edge of your seat in completely different ways...

One's a first date, at the Golf N Stuff... first dates are always intriguing... Then of course the titular attempt to sign up for the All Valley, for which the main titular Cobra Kai has been banned, leading to another standoff between Daniel and Johnny...

And then there's Johnny's son standing up to his tweeker buddies (who seem like they'd be good bad guys if they sold meth for Jesse on Breaking Bad)...

So it's an episode that could very well be the best of the entire series that, at this point, has gone down in quality... but it still pretty great and... well...

THESE first two "Red Band" Seasons were the great old days.
