This Hollywood film is inspired from Vivek's comedy?

Back in 2003, director duo Jd and Jerry came out with a slasher film called Whistle that starred Sherin, Gayathri Raguram, Dd, and Vivek in important roles.

Vivek played the lead comic with a role that was enjoyed by the audience. His character could hear the inner thoughts of women and the comedy track was woven around that.

Now, an upcoming Hollywood film, What Men Want's central theme seems to be of the same concept, except the other way around. The leading lady here can hear the thoughts of men.

What Men Want Red Band Trailer Gets Raunchy with Taraji P. Henson and Pete Davidson

Paramount Pictures has released a new red-band trailer for What Men Want. This gender-swapped remake of the 2000 romcom classic starring Mel Gibson and Helen Hunt, What Women Want, will arrive in theaters nearly 20 years after the original in an era that is very obsessed with, not just remakes and reboots of every sort, but taking original concepts and turning them on their head. Such is the case with What Men Want, which sees Taraji P. Henson reading men's thoughts.

The studio previously revealed a teaser trailer for the remake in August, but this red-band trailer gives a much more thorough, Nsfw look at what's coming our way next year. "Listen up a**holes," Taraji P. Henson shouts at the very beginning of the new trailer. SNL cast member Pete Davidson chimes in soon thereafter with his own curse-filled tirade before we get into the meat of the matter, when Henson

Rowdy Red Band Trailer for 'What Men Want' Starring Taraji P. Henson

"You know, you could use this to your advantage." Paramount Pictures has released a new red band trailer for the upcoming workplace comedy What Men Want, starring the Oscar-nominated Taraji P. Henson as a successful sports agent who gains the power to hear men's thoughts. A sex-flip on Nancy Meyers' What Women Want. The movie is the latest directed by Adam Shankman and looks like a seriously rowdy, full-on R-rated comedy, with Henson letting loose. The cast includes Aldis Hodge, Richard Roundtree, Wendi McLendon-Covey, and Tracy Morgan. This trailer only has a few bits of harsh language, though I wish there was more because they're probably not going to hold back. And the new poster (below) is totally nuts. Taraji P. Henson Says TV, More than Film, Paved the Way for Black Women Leads (and Wants to Play a Man)
Girl Talk is a weekly look at women in film — past, present, and future.

Oscar-nominated actress Taraji P. Henson takes the long view. Others might look at a film like “Hidden Figures,” the 2016 Best Picture nominee in which Henson starred alongside Octavia Spencer and Janelle Monae and herald its success as proof that Hollywood is finally waking up to the massive market for films starring women of color; Henson wants to look just a little further back.

“We’re starting to see more black women lead films,” she said. “That’s a good thing, but I think that was already happening. … I don’t know if it was that film, but it had started to happen anyway on television. After Kerry Washington and ‘Scandal,’ and then next thing you know here comes Cookie, then you have Annalise on ‘How to Get Away With Murder.’ It just started happening.”

The “Cookie” in question is,

‘Clueless’ Remake In Early Development At Paramount With ‘Girls Trip’s Tracy Oliver Producing

  • Deadline
Exclusive: A Clueless feature remake is in the works at Paramount with Girls Trip writer Tracy Oliver producing and Glow writer Marquita Robinson penning the script.

The movie is quite early in development, so details are minimal in regards to whether it’s a fresh new take for the millennium and if older characters will be reprising their roles.

The original 1995 film directed and written by Amy Heckerling is a cult Gen X classic, loosely based on Jane Austen’s Emma, and provided a satirical window into the Beverly Hills high school scene of the day. The movie put a number of young actors and actresses on the map who flourished in the wake of the pic’s release including Alicia Silverstone, Paul Rudd, Breckin Meyer, Jeremy Sisto, Stacey Dash, and the late Brittany Murphy. In the movie, Silverstone played superficial, but well-intention teen Cher Horowitz who is trying to

Taraji P. Henson Compares ‘Empire’ Season 5 to Nike’s Kaepernick Ad Campaign on Emmys Red Carpet
When host Giuliana Rancic asked Taraji P. Henson on E!’s Emmys Live From the Red Carpet about the new season of her hit show “Empire” and her upcoming flick “What Men Want,” Henson got a bit topical, briefly bringing up Nike’s new ad campaign featuring Colin Kaepernick and the “women’s movement.”
