A joyous family reunion becomes a hilarious nightmare as Madea and the crew travel to backwoods Georgia, where they find themselves unexpectedly planning a funeral that might unveil unsavory family secrets.
Gloria finds a power she never knew she had when she is drawn into a dangerous world of cross-border crime. Surviving will require all of her cunning, inventiveness, and strength. Based on the Spanish-language film.
This was a poor excuse for a romantic comedy! What it really was is an opportunity to bash heterosexual men and places of worship. I've never seen a movie where extreme profanity was used in a church of any kind. It was wrong on many levels. This story has been told before and may I add, much better! According to this movie, straight men are manipulating, sexist, satanic, money hungry liars and creeps. Although she is one of the producers of the film, I don't blame Taraji for this heap of manure. Many fine actors have joined projects only to find out later, it's not what they thought it would be. There were a few funny moments, but not nearly enough to justify sitting through this turd.
