What could possibly be said about Butter & Friends? What can you say about a game where you are babysitting butter, eggs or a piece of bread? What can be said about a game where you are protecting these babies from the likes of burglars, ufo's, cats & circus balls? This tiny indie game is certainly original but alas it's tiny and within 10 minutes you will have literally seen everything it has to offer.
In many ways it could be considered a party game and maybe that's the market. Sadly with multiple players it actually falls apart due to the limited screen scrolling window.
Though it certainly has a quirky charm it's more like a mobile game than anything else and it's charm and entertainment value will diminish very quickly.
The difficulty curve is the only really surprising thing, it gets quite hard especially when you add up to 4 babies to defend at once.
All in all there are worse things you can do with your time but you won't want to give much of that time up due to the inevitable boredom that will occur.
Music gets repetitive
Game is tiny
Difficulty can be frustrating
Multiplayer is badly flawed
Things I Learnt From This Game:
Parents should perhaps close doors no matter how much the baby likes fresh air
Food babies like balloons a lot
Bread is evil
