I have also posted this review in my Facebook Group Best of horror movies, Evil down the streets Directed by David J. Espinosa, this is easily a very different film if we compare this film with other horror films belonging to supernatural or demonic possession, I personally enjoyed the film but I would also warn certain things about this film that this film is not meant for everyone
If you are a person who enjoys lot of jumpscares with scary ghost faces with lots of special effects than this movie is not for you, I heard some people on IMDB complaining that they were waiting to see the demon or the ghost but they did not get to see, ( but am happy the movie has lot of positive reviews out there ) as I said this is not usual film with special effects and scary ghost faces
The horror of the film lies in the presentation of the film, the way the film is presented, the way the screenplay is presented, this reminds me of the classic film THE CHANGELING though am not comparing this film to that classic but some How this movie tries to create horror the way that classic film did, it's creepy, the only two negative things about this film is the actors performances and the climax, Kelton Jones is the only actor who impresses with his acting, Alena Gerard is decent and rest all the other actors are strictly below average, and the climax I felt could have been much much better
Also the makers of the film claims that it's based on true events and I loved the fact that the film tries to remain as real as possible as I said that the film does not have scary ghost faces neither special effects neither ghost flying in the air
Overall if you are the kind of a person who love this kind of a horror film than you should give it a watch but if you are kind of a person who wants scary ghost faces than stay away from this one, the movie is free streaming on Tubi app.
