Love and G.I. Blues.
1 June 2019 | by blanbrnSee all my reviews

This video from Elton John's 1983 hit "I Guess That's Why They Call It the Blues" is telling and touching proving that when being apart a couple can feel the effects and emotions of missing love! Set in the 1950's it involves a couple a young boy and girl who are split apart when the young man is called away on National Service. This little lady misses him so much it's like love and G.I. Blues all in one as the dance floor and kisses in the car are long gone! Only a return and love can cure the blues! Great video and long song that go hand and hand one of Elton's best mid 80's hits.
