As lame as they come...
16 May 2019 | by rossmcfarlenSee all my reviews

I'm always willing to forgive a ropey start with the expectation that the narrative and tension will pick up to a compelling Act II with a satisfactory denouement to match the meat of the yarn.

This flick never took off the ground for me and I couldn't muster the energy to suspend my disbelief at all the contrived coincidences that just didn't add up. The words lazy screenwriting spring to mind.

So bored was I towards the end I wanted a psychotic mass killer to turn up outta nowhere with a rapidfire machine gun and mow all the main characters down in less than twelve seconds flat - I couldn't wait to see the back of this snivelling lot.

This was the ending I desired but unfortunately, and expectedly, the makers of this yarn delivered the ropey ending to match the ropey beginning....there's a fifteen minute chunk in the ropey middle where I fell asleep but unfortunately I woke up...😴😒 Did I miss anything? Na nahhh!

My other reviews testify that I'm no mean critic but this flick has brought out my worst side so far.
