As the title suggests, this is an Inspector Brackenreid-centric episode that brings back into focus his artistic talent with the paint brush, but with some new subject-matter (much to the dismay of Mrs. Brackenreid). This is an episode which is heavy on the humor, with Murdoch in particular getting to spout a number of one-liners, and a good mystery to boot. Detective Watts finally gets a bit of a romance with a bold beauty, and the potential to see her more in the future. We even get to see the story arc regarding Julia's pregnancy move a bit further forward. Overall, a light and lovely outing.
