Adrian is a poor Romanian writer trying to make it in Spain, while grappling with the prejudices that are inflicted both upon and by him. An unabashed romantic with a temper to boot, he divides his time evenly between typing out his woes and attempting to woo the dreamy-but-doomed Maria, a Spanish musician.
Mihai Smarandache it's a very good actor, I've seen him in a few theater plays in Bucharest, at the Theater Odeon. He's also trying to get the best of it here, but the script and direction do not let him. Belén Cuesta and Ariadna Gil are more natural and compelling in the two main female roles. Luis Bermejo in the role of the parking owner is neither him convincing. The film had the potential to become a little masterpiece but, apparently, Mr. Tudor Giurgiu did not found his voice yet or maybe he is in the wrong business.
