Utter Stupidity
15 April 2018 | by HitchcocSee all my reviews

This was a very well done episode. Al is making a go of the pub and is living with Morwenna. One morning the doorbell rings and it is Morwenna's missionary parents. They have been out of her life, living in Africa, but they still are judgmental. They represent the worst kind of religion, the kind where they won't allow common sense to enter into anything. The mother believes she has liver cancer and refuses to allow Martin to follow up on it. We also have Louisa's efforts to take courses to become a child therapist. And a series of strange events are taking place after a young man returns to town from the University. And there are also two dogs. While some of the episode is pretty predictable, Martin makes things really click.
