Storyline

Batman Ninja takes a journey across the ages as Gorilla Grodd's time displacement machine transports many of Batman's worst enemies to feudal Japan - along with the Dark Knight and a few of his allies. The villains take over the forms of the feudal lords that rule the divided land, with the Joker taking the lead among the warring factions. As his traditional high-tech weaponry is exhausted almost immediately, Batman must rely on his intellect and his allies - including Catwoman and the extended Bat-family - to restore order to the land, and return to present-day Gotham City. Written by Warner Bros.

Trivia

The looks of Batman's villains are styled after those of Japanese historical characters, namely the feudal lords ('daimyo') whose province they are said to have taken over in this time-line:
  • Penguin = Takeda Shingen.
  • Poison Ivy = Uesugi Kenshin.
  • Deathstroke = Date Masamune, well known for having an eye-patch.
  • Two-Face = (a blend).
  • Gorilla Grodd = Toyotomi Hideyoshi.
  • Joker = Oda Nobunaga.

Absolute mess, but very entertaining
29 April 2018 | by harryboy123See all my reviews

One of the oddest films I have ever seen hands down. I have no idea what was going on for majority of the film. The voice acting was pretty bad, and the animation was odd - the style changed so often I can't say if it was good or bad. Despite all of this I will not forget it - a recommendation if you're gonna watch with friends and not take it seriously, but it's not good.
