An empire seizes a strategic city. To reclaim it, their rival plots a deceptive stratagem, setting a trap to outwit the occupying forces and regain control.

The plot of the movie derived from a chapter of the classical Chinese novel The Romance of Three Kingdoms. One of the kingdom's empire Sun Xuan took over an important city Jinzhou. In order to seize the city back to himself , the other empire Zhou Yu tried to use badger game against Sun Xuan to regain the city Jinzhou.
