I took the teleportation device!

I'll be honest that I never saw Freddie Highmore in his previous series as Norman Bates. This series casts him as Shaun Murphy, a savant gifted autistic doctor, at fictional St Bonaventure Hospital in San Jose, California. The series is shot in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. I caught this episode because Michael Muhney played the boy's father. The series is always a work in progress. Highmore deserves an Emmy for playing this role. He plays him effortlessly and likable. Richard Schiff is also good as a mentor doctor. There are flashbacks to Shaun's childhood with his brother, Steve. His brother was someone who understood and loved Shaun unconditionally. Their father was abusive especially towards Shaun and his autism. The abusive father doesn't understand his autistic son. He just wants Shaun to be normal like other kids.
