Danny & Sons Coping
12 December 2019 | by lfreepartnerSee all my reviews

I am mainly writing point out an error in the review by bkoganbing: Mimi Rogers character was the paint-dropping artist being evicted, not the angry table-tossing spouse. When the Amy Carlson character was cut my initial reaction was "What are the producers thinking?" But I now think the writers are getting a lot more mileage out of Donnie Wahlberg's character as grieving widow coping with his grieving sons and when he starts dating again, probably with officer Cosgrove, there are many possibilities and the currently married characters of Estes and Rey offer lots of crazy complications. Lots of great scenes with Rogers, Keach and the regular cast make this episode shine. Not to mention Moynihan showing rare fallibility and self-doubt. I've enjoyed this season greatly and the Commissioners official portrait by Roger's is not to be missed. Probably my favorite episode in a season full of great ones!
