In my opinion this is the way the video and song were meant to be. Don't bother with the standard version.

The explicit lyrics here allow the true nuance of the song to come through. The contrast between the crass lyrics and dark night with the glittering chandeliers and sweet smiles is the key. It's about showing that admiration of a partner isn't just some sweet innocent thing but can also be violent, carnal, possessive and almost uncontrollable.

Definitely the better version. Simple but very effective.

Mariah in a barn dancing around as her partner admires her beauty, her singing partner in this is Miguel, add in a few chandeliers, a vintage red Porsche and the wispy yellow submarine dress and we've already got a perfect recipe. Mariah prances around in at times a seductive way which is cute and adorable. Set on a dark night contrast with the lights and shine of chandeliers to convey both promiscuous activity that could well follow in the relationship, or the sweet innocent affection for one another.

This music video is shot well, visually it's stunning and alluring depicting either the early honeymoon phase of a relationship where everything is exciting and fresh or the excitement on exploring new places in a secluded area. It's has a raunchy rather naughty feeling to it! Mariah is well tuned in knowing what people want to see in her music videos and always manages to deliver a good product. The song is simplistic, yet works in connecting with so many around the globe.
