It's a feature-length narrative film about a middle-class couple, that wants to adopt the perfect little girl, but they end up being offered a rebellious 12-year-old boy.
The movie shows one day in life of a couple who decides to adopt a child, and they take a kid from the orphanage for a "trial day". Occasionally the main story gets interrupted with the glimpses of the couple's life before that day - and the events that had lead them to the decision to adopt a child. At first the non-linear plot makes you wonder what exactly is happening and why, but then at some point all the pieces fall together, and you find yourself deeply feeling for the main characters, wondering how this crazy day will end for them, hoping for the best. It's not easy to review the movie without any spoilers, but this "trial day" will make the main character to face the truth and decide whether to choose love and compassion, or one's ego. This is a very human story, the story about loss, love, rejection, fighting one's ego, and acceptance. Highly recommend.
