-Production for the 2+ hours of animation took 4 years to complete.

-Much of the animation styles of ST-TPM borrows from the works of Ralph Bakshi, including rotoscoping live actors and xerography of stock footage. Other techniques were inspired by the special effects teams of Sid and Marty Kroft, like chroma keying architectural models into animated scenes.
