Paul lives an isolated life with his father in upstate New York. He finds making friends impossible due to a rare condition he has known as congenital hypertrichosis - an affliction that causes an abnormal amount of hair growth all over his face and body. On his 13th birthday, Paul receives a mysterious gift that compels him to run away and seek out the mother he has never known. Written by Anon
"I don't want to meet others like me." -"Why?" "Because I hate me"
I honestly had no high expectations to be completely honest but this was surprising. It is a really good coming of age story, that has a very unique twist on the whole not fit in Athough it follow the same tropes, it does feel fresh, and exciting mainly because of the direction, which is honestly really good. it is veryentertaining and enjoyable and have a very universal message, and it is very heartwarming and beautiful with gorgeous cinematography. The performances by the cast are great and it has a very wholsome and beautiful ending. The first act is a bit rushed but the 2nd and 3rd act are really great.
