- 9-1-1 is a dramatic (and often traumatic) series based on real-life emergency responder stories, takes viewers through harrowing crisis and climactic rescues. It has scenes of people having serious (or fatal) accidents, sustaining horrific injuries, and other disturbing moments. Definitely not for the faint of heart, and not intended for young or sensitive viewers.
- Several scenes of severe domestic abuse and killing in self-defense. Can be quite traumatic for victims of abuse.
- Potrayal of postpartum depression and attempts of suicide.
- Some natural catastrophes like tsunamis and earthquakes.

Violence & Gore
- In season 2, we see a woman with an unfinished face surgery. There is a lot of blood on her neck. A chunk of her face fall, revealing blood and muscle beneath. It is EXTREMELY gory and and disturbing
- Victims are occasionally shot (sometimes with blood splatter) stabbed, hit by cars and even eviscerated in some cases. The worst situations are extremely gory and could disturb some viewers
- A guy gets swallowed by an escalator in a mall. He dies due to his injuries.
- A woman gets her arm crushed in a bowling machine, lots of blood to see.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- In season 3, Eddie is shot by a sniper, it comes completely out of nowhere, and catches the audience and the characters off guard. Moderate blood splatter, some hits Buck in the face. Eddie falls down and lays in his own blood.
- In the first season an underage girl overdoses and ends up in hospital.
- Police brutality in 3x05.
- A guy gets severely beaten and attacked during his date with another guy he met online.
- In 5x17 a paramedic intentionally kills people to play the hero who brings them back. Later he kidnapps Hen and "kills" Chimney several times in front of her just to bring him back to life again and again. Very frightening scene.
- A mother almost drowns her baby in a bath tub and it has severe consequences for her mental health.
- A mother falls down a hole and dies due to her injuries. Very sad scene.
- Buck gets hit by a lightning bolt and dies briefly. He is then in a coma.
- Hen accidentally hits a girls car with her fire truck and she dies. Her reaction is very intense.
- A firefighter is trapped underground and almost drowns.
- A fireman has flashbacks of a fire (that he caused) and killed his family. A burned man is also seen. Very graphic and intense.1st season.
