DI Mooney and the team investigate the murder of an author, who is found stabbed to death after going for an early morning swim.

Thriller writer Frank O'Toole and his wife Valerie are entertaining his agent Larry South and researcher Gilly White at their island home when Frank's corpse is pulled from the sea, having apparently been stabbed whilst out swimming alone. Frank had argued with Larry over switching agents as his book sales were falling and Gilly admits to an affair with Frank, which was known to Valerie. Jack establishes that the killer used a boat, hired under an assumed name and that name leads to him solving the crime as well as playing Cupid for Dwayne.—don @ minifie-1

Shortly his 40th debut anniversary, crime hit author Frank "O'" Toole drifts drowned at sea after a stabbing during his very early solo-swim. He no longer sold well and intended to replace his literary agent Larry South, who now cashes big time on his media-exposed extant oeuvre. Jack, whose house guest Dwayne finds him a terrible complication for dating and home-cooking for Darlene Curtis, searches for means to trap and kill Frank, probably using a hidden boat and scooter, tracing only to a traceless Otis Falconer on a neighboring island. Frank's wife Valerie O'Toole claims she was confident his umpteenth affair, with younger adoring would be-author Gilly White, whom their invited to their villa, would end soon, bored with yet another airhead, while her own UK admirer, Dean Shanks, 'forgot' to mention he flew to Sainte Marie.—KGF Vissers
