Quite possibly the worst movie I've ever attempted to watch

I made it through 50 minutes before I had to give up. The storyline is actually pretty decent. Dub is the only character who can act, a couple of his boys weren't horrible but the acting from everyone else was laughable. The sound was atrocious and the film editing...wow. This felt like the equivalent of a "publish your own ebook on Amazon" film, complete with the writer's friends publishing fake five star reviews to draw in the unsuspecting.

Not one decent actor, just terrible.

Well, just finished watching this and let's just say it was bad, real bad. It's my fault though as I thought I was going to watch another movie also called Weight. I don't know if that one would have been better but it could for sure not been worse. There is so much wrong with this movie you just wonder if they are real professionals in this movie, the actors, director, editors? First of all, the sound editing, it's probably one of the worst sound editing I have ever witnessed in a movie. Than there is the acting, or more the lack of acting, as this was just terrible to watch. Almost nobody can act in Weight. The worst were Chanae Jordan, Tristin Fazekas, Dominique Alexander and LaVaughn 'Big Gov' Finley. Those were absolutely terrible, but the rest were also pretty close to terrible. The story made me yawn several times, but I'm not sure if that was because of the acting or because I just wanted this garbage to end as soon as possible. And then you have the soundtrack, or that absolute horrendous R'nB music, and all the clichés you can possibly imagine when you think about 'The Hood'. If you're too bored but by accident you have to watch this movie you still can count the amounts of n***as and b****es in their conversations, but prepare for numbers higher than hundred as it's basically the only thing they say.

Horrible acting, sound quality, i could only make it 30 minutes. The story line wasn't bad tho. Just the acting was absolutely horrible. Director must have been brand new

2 hours I will never get back, seriously go outside get some exercise grab a pizza but whatever you do give this a miss. Typical American Street rubbish. Bad sound bad acting and way to much swearing and over use of the N-Word sheeesh Kebab.

A good quality movie

Its griddy cause its a hood movie but well done with a good storyline. I expect to see more work from these people.

I liked the movie. Im becoming a huge fan of Tory Monae, she's the reason I watched it. Of course its not an Oscar contender, but it's entertaining and acting is actually deso.

Suspenseful Indie drama.

Weight has a great storyline that plunges you into the world of drugs and broken american dreams. It is made with a lot of passion and the filmmakers clearly want to make a film that moves the viewer and has something to say. I am very curious about what they do next !
