In Germany you only need a special simple driver's license to drive a moped. You just need 9 hours theoretical and 1,5 hours of practical lessons. With this background you can drive with reaching your 15th birthday. The costs for the license are between 150 and 180 Euros. As soon as you receive a usual driver's license there is no further qualification needed to drive a moped. If born before 04.01.1965 you just need your personal ID to confirm the required age.

Goofs
The festival ground, which is supposed to be near Paderborn in Western Germany, is located in the former Eastern part of Germany: in the background is a level-crossing signal for a railway line, which is clearly of the typical old GDR type.
