- TriviaFour of the major cast members of season 1 appeared in season 3 of the Welsh detective show Hinterland. Sion Alun Davies (DS Owen Vaughan) and Gwyneth Keyworth (victim Megan) played the son and daughter of a murdered preacher in episode 3.1. Sian Reese-Williams also appeared in that episode, as well as others, as a hotel owner. And Rhodri Meilier (predator Dylan) appeared in episode 3.2 as the boyfriend of a murder victim (Reese-Williams was also in that episode).
- GoofsPolice vehicles in North Wales, where the series is set, are signed "Heddlu", the Welsh for Police, rather than "Police".
- Alternate versionsTwo language versions filmed together: First broadcast in Welsh version (Craith), followed by English/bilingual version (Hidden).

Fed up about reviews criticising the Welsh language
I am two episodes in and so far it's everything you want. Beautiful and brooding landscapes, twists and turns... but the main reason I'm writing a review is because of the negative comments towards the use of the welsh language.
Firstly, they're in Wales so they're speaking Welsh. Makes sense doesn't it? If you can't be bothered to experience some culture and pay attention to the episodes by occasionally having to read some subtitles then this isn't a series for you. I also love all the Scandinavian murder mystery dramas and this is very similar. SO if your idea of a good serial killer series is something like Criminal Minds then I'm afraid this is a bit too sophisticated for u x
