"But remember, there's always tomorrow." Whimsical show for preschoolers who are interested in learning about the world!

Warning: Spoilers
Yes, I am adding a quote from this show to my review, and this is the last sentence Luna ever says in every episode. If you're curious about what the premiere was like, it contained a compilation of segments of the fun show about 10 minutes long. You will NOT regret this show! The advertisements for this were thrown at me over and over again, and then I thought about watching it. I'm glad I did!

The funding is just animated by PBS Kids, but the credits are unique and well done. Theme song lyrics are creative, and just like the theme song says, "Traveling the world as a trio, Andy, and Carmen, and Leo", great adventures begin with them. A magic globe helps them learn cool facts about where they're at, and the globe actually teaches something to me, as a teenager. I know you may not like this show, but please respect my opinion. Andy, a wombat who has his own camera, Carmen, a butterfly, and Leo, a dog are whimsical and very cute, and when Luna the moon comes, the trio sings a simple, cute, short, and sweet song. It invites Luna and preschoolers to join in on the adventure, just like that! They experience a snafu, where, for example, the trio gets cold, the mariachi band has hiccups, or even two missing parakeets. Later through the show, a little song is sung. All the songs are very cute, and the voice actors are NOT squeally like some shows for the preschool age demographic can tend to have.

At times, the characters can be whiny, but ultimately, they are kind to each other and are very fun and peppy. The variety of characters is diverse (which we need because these days, we have seen shows that contain only one gender, ethnicity, or race).

The two best things about this show are the educational value and background music. First, the educational aspects. The world is where we live in, so we need to learn more about it, right? True. This show totally delivers on the educational value because throughout the adventures of Luna and her friends, educational tidbits are used, likewise, in London, people speak English just like in USA, but both countries use different words with the same meaning. In Britain, cotton candy (as the Americans call it) is called candy floss. I had never known such a thing until I watched "Let's Go Luna!".

Then the background music. It is spot-on and beautifully scored! Really, for a fact, it livens up the show to make it as cheery as it is, but not like Barney or Dora, which both use subpar music, but preschoolers probably won't care.

I highly recommend this program for parents and their young children because people need to learn more about the world and there needs to be more programs like this. It not only educates, but it also entertains. Thank you, Joe Murray, creator of "Let's Go Luna!"!

9/10. Worth a watch!

By the way, this holiday, there will be a family movie called "Let's Go Luna: Christmas Around the World" on PBS Kids.

***Update: The Christmas movie maintained the show's formula of great entertainment, educational value, and dynamite music. It starts with a captain and a ship taking Andy, Carmen, and Leo to Australia, but they ended up in Antarctica. Along the way, they learned about the Santas in France, Sweden, Italy, etc.. In the end, Luna and all the other characters learned the best part of Christmas is not Santa Claus or anything like it, but it is actually giving. Just as good as the show.

This show is good

Those two negative reviews are silly. It seem like one never watch the show. The show is teaches about culture not science. It is not a ripoff Space:1999. And to the second negative review, it's still a good for a preschool show. It's not too babyish like Dora. And why he shouldn't be allow to target younger kids? Grow up.

One of my favorite shows to come out this year

Warning: Spoilers
NOTE: To the reviewer that complains that this is not Joe Murray, Joe Murray can create whatever he wants! Even if it is a preschool show, so stop whining and leave him alone!

I feel like, that since, 2014, PBS Kids has had a lot of good shows. Odd Squad and Nature Cat are really good, everyone already knows my stance on Ready Jet Go, and Splash and Bubbles is okay to watch sometimes. Pinkalicious & Peterrific on the other hand.....eh. I really liked it when it first premiered, but then I got tired of it due to the cheesiness of the show and because PBS Kids keeps treating it better than all the other shows.

"Let's Go Luna!" is a return to form for PBS Kids. Like Ready Jet Go & Dinosaur Train, it is made by a former Nicktoon creator, in this case it's Joe Murray. Despite being aimed towards the younger crowd, it has enough of Murray's signature witty writing to keep teens/adults interested.

Luna is an eccentric and patient teacher to Andy, Carmen, and Leo, and at the same time, she's not perfect. I really like Andy, Carmen, and Leo and I think they have an excellent dynamic, but Carmen is my most favorite. Her episodes, such as "Day of the Dead" and "Aren't We a Pair?", are very interesting and really stand out.

I find it interesting that this show is storyboard-driven instead of script-driven. The animation is very fluid and the cities in which the kids visit are portrayed as accurately and as respectfully as possible. You can learn a lot while watching the show, and you can be entertained at the same time.

I am very glad that this show has become a huge success. This is what PBS Kids should use as a role model - a funny, heartwarming show about the world, not a girl who has a creepy fetish for the color pink.

Short, But Sweet

After turning on the ole flat screen to find something I could watch while enjoying my mid-afternoon meal, this show is what was come across. I heard about Luna months before, yet never really found the time to tune in. Anyway...Amazing Man is the half episode I seen which somewhere around 11 minutes running time was expected, but barely a fraction of that period seemed to pass by (hence my headline) . So with the rating I gave, you can tell I enjoyed it.

Joe Murray's finest work yet!
deyvehd29 May 2019
This show is an utter delight! It's silly but also educational, and in a way that even the adults watching will learn something. The kids are wonderful and Judy Greer is perfect in the role of Luna the moon.

Each episode features 2 stories and a folk tale short interlude that showcases some alternative art styles from the talented crew. Being that they spend 4 stories in each location around the world the background artists really get to shine. Every background is beautifully painted. The diverse character designs are a culmination of everything Murray has done from Rocko to Frog in a Suit. There are even a few nods to those shows.

This show is perfect for those who grew up on Rocko who now have kids of their own, but is also great even if you don't have kids.

I think this show is charming and cute I love it it's a great PBS KIDS show. I just looked at a couple of episodes yesterday and took me by surprise when I realized it was created by Joe Murray, who also created Camp Lazlo. This show is watchable and fun I hope they make more episodes.

Terrible show!
jojime-2077727 June 2021
The show replaced Fetch with Ruff Ruffman, one of the best shows, and this show has ugly animation and flossing in one episode, very bad.
