Trivia
"China White" is a term used for diacetylmorphine (heroin) that has been cut with a potent synthetic opioid called a-Methylfentanyl, which is a derivative of the potent synthetic opioid fentanyl. a-Methylfentanyl is not quite as potent as fentanyl (which is 100 times more potent than morphine) but it is longer acting causing it to be favored in long-term illicit opioid users because of both its potency and longer high. a-Methylfentanyl is between six and ten times as potent as heroin making it a very dangerous drug when used by people who have no, or very little, tolerance to opioids and is responsible for a considerable number of overdoses among occasional, recreational heroin users.

Goofs
When Tiana is in the ER and starts to have an asthma attack the doctor orders the nurse to give her "10 milligrams of Albuterol." This is something a doctor wouldn't say since Albuterol is the brand name for the inhaled form of Salbutamol, the active drug in Albuterol inhalers. When being given in intravenous form the doctor would use the drug's actual name to avoid confusion, so the doctor should have said "10 milligrams of Salbutamol". We know she was ordering the intravenous form because when inhaled Salbutamol dosages are measured in micrograms, not milligrams.
