I expected more in the end..
12 September 2018 | by BatmanFunReviews2018See all my reviews

A father and daughter form an unlikely songwriting duo in the summer before she leaves for college. Despite a pretty good cast of talented actors and some pretty good music as well 'Hearts Beat Loud' just doesn't work as it might have or could have. The perfomances were mediocre at best and the characters didn't do much as well in my opinion. It just doesn't have the spark it needs to do within it's music or it's storyline about a father and daughter forming this bond within their music threw a Summer and just simply doesn't work either both in music and drama.
